🚨 Things to Watch:
• Gustavsson’s Return – After missing Saturday’s game with an illness, Filip Gustavsson is expected to be back in net. Can he bounce back and help the Wild steal two points in Denver?
• Makar’s Impact – The Avalanche defenseman took a shot off the foot in his last game but is still expected to play. If he’s at full strength, he could be a game-changer for Colorado’s blue line.
• Boldy Heating Up? – Matt Boldy scored a goal and added an assist in Nashville. With Kaprizov still out, the Wild will need him to step up offensively against a high-powered Avalanche squad.
• Special Teams Battle – The Wild’s penalty kill has struggled this season (70.9%, second-worst in the NHL). Can they slow down Colorado’s power play, or will Nathan MacKinnon and Mikko Rantanen make them pay?
• Middleton Family Matchup – The Wild’s Jake Middleton will face his younger brother Keaton, a defenseman for Colorado. Will we see a rare sibling showdown on the ice?
